Mount Everest is Earth's highest peak from the sea level, current official elevation of 8848 meter (29028 ft.). It is located in the mahalangur himal sub-range of the Himalaya situated in Nepal, south Asia. Local address of Mount Everest before March 10, 2017 was Khumjung Village Development Committee, Solukhumbu District but now it has been changed into Khumbu Pasanglhamu Rural Municipality, Solukhumbu District, Provence no.1 Nepal.
